Low-Income or Affordable Housing

- May or may not include rental assistance; availability varies.
Low-Income Housing Tax Credit - LIHTC
- Funded through the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program.
- Offers affordable rents to qualifying household based on AMI
- Typically does not include a rental subsidy like Section 8
Subsidized Housing - Including Friendly to Section 8
- Rent is based on a percentage of the tenant's income, usually around 30%.
